All Weather Chelsea Boots by Lands End

I purchased this pair of all weather boots from Lands End back in late October, just before the fall weather kicked in.

SIDE

Environment, Conditions, Duration of Testing:

14 weeks worn 50 plus hours per week

Temperature range -10 Fahrenheit to 70 degrees

Exposed to snow, ice, rain, wet concrete, oil covered concrete, dry concrete

Testing Summary:

I bought this boot back in October for the chillier fall and sloppy winter weather and quickly fell in love with them.  Right out of the box I was very happy with the fit and comfort as they stay on nice and secure with all day comfort. There was no break-in period with these boots as I never had sore feet nor blisters from wearing them 10 plus hours a day. No slipping but instead solid footing on just about any surface I travel on. These are a great boot with no laces or zipper- they just slip on instantly to take Adventure Dog on his daily walks in any kind of weather. Even with walking in deeper snow. I have not had a problem with snow leaking down the shaft of the boot; my feet have stayed very warm and dry in all conditions / temperatures.  Even wearing them indoors in my office, my feet still stay very comfortable with no over heating. It would make a great boot to wear at a climbing crag when you switch from climbing to belaying since you would have secure footing for belaying and able to quickly change back into a climbing shoe. I would also find it a great boot to wear around a campsite that would keep your feet warm and dry with easy on-and-off as you went in and out of the tent.

Gear Dad rates them 5 gears (out of 5).

  1. Nice page – I love reading reviews and have done a few myself but have found that they are low performers on my site. I’ll keep reading and maybe I can share some of your reviewes to help you out 👊🏻
