We have written about cold weather adventures for several months now, but it time to switch gears as the warmer spring breezes are starting to blow. It is time to find all that gear that got piled and stashed in closets and corners, and make sure you can find everything that is on your packing list.
We would suggest inspecting all gear as soon as possible to see if it needs to be sent out for repair or warranty work. Get it in now before the rush so you can have it back in time. We also enjoy a practice run at home or a local park before actually hitting the road, so after you have found and organized all your gear, take time to set it up and make camp in a controlled environment to be sure you have it all and it all works. Spring has sprung and don’t miss out because you have damaged or lost gear. Most importantly, be sure you know how to use all that new gear you got for holiday gifts!
